Getting Started Tutorials Manual MIDI and Audio
There are two ways to insert empty space in a track or a group of tracks.
In the Score Editor, space equal to the duration value can be inserted at the cursor position in the current track by pressing the TAB key.
In the Song Editor, empty space can be inserted in one or more tracks. Do this by selecting a group of tracks and a number of bars. This is done by dragging the mouse over the tracks and bars. From the Edit menu that appears select Insert Space.
The Insert Space dialog allows you to insert space in a single track or in multiple tracks. The Insert At Time field is filled in initially with the time of the first bar that you selected. You can change this if you like. The Amount field is filled in initially with the number of bars that you selected. You can change this as well if you like. When you click on OK the amount of space you specify will be inserted in all the tracks that you have selected.
